Higher School of Saharan Agriculture – El oued

Fourth -year students specializing in Animal Production at the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in El Oued carried out a scientific field trip on Monday, 17 November 2025, to the Aouimer Institution in Reguiba (OVIPO). The purpose of this visit was to reinforce and complement theoretical studies with practical, real-world applications in the poultry production sector -starting from breeder farms, egg incubation and hatching, and continuing to broiler rearing.

The field visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Leila SAHRAOUI, who ensured the pedagogical coordination and smooth implementation of the activity.

The visit provided an important opportunity to consolidate student's knowledge, supported by the positive engagement and expertise of the institution's staff, as well as the supervising veterinarian, Dr. Yassine BOUKAHIL .
