Eligibility Criteria for Higher School of Saharan Agriculture – El oued

Regarding the second priority, candidates are ranked based on the overall average obtained in the Baccalaureate examination, which must also be greater than or equal to 13 /20.

Admission to HSSAE is granted through the national competitive entrance examination for the Higher Schools, conducted at the national level at the end of two (02) years of preparatory studies in natural and life sciences, undertaken either within HSSAE itself or at other equivalent Higher Education Institutions.

The training programs offered include the following :

 

  • The State Engineer Diploma in Agricultural Sciences

  • The Master’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences

  • Continuing education programs and professional qualification examinations.

The duration of the academic program at HSSAE is three years, during which students specialize in one of the following fields:
 
  1. Department of Plant Sciences

  • Plant Protection

  • Plant Production

  • Botany   

  1.         Department of Animal Sciences

    • Animal Production

    • Animal Husbandry in Arid and Semi-Arid Regions

    1. Department of Soil Hydraulics and Agriculture

    • Agricultural Practices (Tillage and Soil Amendments / Fertilization)

    • Soil Science

    • Irrigation and Drainage

    1. Department of Agrifood Industrial Technology

    • Biotechnology

    • Quality Control

    • Courses are delivered in the following formats:
