On Wednesday, 05 November 2025, the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in El Oued took part in the official launch of the ploughing and sowing season in the municipality of Ben Guecha. The event was held under the supervision of the Governor of El Oued Province, Mr. Larbi BEHLOUL, who was accompanied by a delegation of local authorities. The School's delegation, composed of faculty members and students, was led by the Director, Professor Elhabib GUEDDA, who presented an overview of the school and its objectives. He also expressed his gratitude to the local authorities, particularly the Governor, for their continuous support and the efforts made to ensure the success of the School's missions. Following visits to the various stands, the Governor, accompanied by his delegation and the students, proceeded to plant windbreak trees and officially signaled the start of the ploughing and sowing season.
