The Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in El Oued officially launched the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week today, Monday, 17 November 2025. The opening ceremony began with an address by the School Director, Professor Elhabib GUEDDA, who welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among students. This was followed by remarks from the Deputy Director for Scientific Research, Dr. Ibrahim El-Khalil BAHMENE, who highlighted the crucial role of entrepreneurship as a driving force for the national economy, particularly in the agricultural sector. After the welcoming speeches, Professor Moufid ABDELLAOUI delivered a presentation entitled "The Role of Startups in Local Development." In addition, Dr. Wahiba KHAZAZNA presented an intervention aligned with the theme of Global Entrepreneurship Week: "Together We Build a Complete Entrepreneurial Ecosystem."
