Scientific Field Trip for Third-Year Preparatory Cycle Students in Agricultural Sciences
As part of the practical activities of the course Plant Protection I, third-year students of the Preparatory Cycle in Agricultural Sciences at the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in El Oued took part in a scientific field trip to the Cereal and Dry Legumes Cooperative of El Oued Province.
The field trip aimed to enhance student's knowledge of integrated pest management of stored cereals, by familiarizing them with the major pests affecting stored grains, as well as inspection procedures, hygiene practices, sampling techniques, and grain quality assessment.
The field trip was supervised by Dr. Aicha Merzoug, Dr. Sara Ben Abdallah, and Dr. Rima Hadjouti.
