Scientific Visit Within the Framework of Academic Cooperation with the Higher Agronomic Institute of Chott Mariem, Sousse - Tunisia
Within the framework of cooperation agreement linking the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in El Oued with the Higher Agronomic Institute of Chott Mariem, Sousse - Republic of Tunisia, the Director of the School,Professor Elhabib GUEDDA, conducted a scientific visit to the institute.
The visit was hosted by the Director of the Institute, Professor Dr. Redjouane Medjdoub, Professor Dr. Nadji TERSHOUN, the Secretary- General, the Head of the Animal Production Department, the Head of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of Internships, and the Director of the Doctoral School.
Discussions focused on the possibilities of organising student mobility programmes within the framework of graduation thesis preparation, as well as academic staff mobility through joint supervision, collaborative research, and shared scientific publications, with the prospect of developing joint international research projects.
The visit also provided an opportunity to tour the Institute's pedagogical and research laboratories, model teaching farms, plant nurseries, and facilities dedicated to sheep and cattle breeding.
