Participation of the Director of the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in the Regional Meeting of Eastern Universities
On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the Director of the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture in El Oued, Professor Elhabib GUEDDA, participated in the regional meeting organized by the Regional Conference of Eastern Universities (CRU Est), chaired by Professor Mohamed El Hadi LATRECHE, and hosted at Mohamed Khider University of Biskra. The meeting brought together directors of higher education institutions from across the eastern region to discuss key strategic and academic issues related to the higher education sector.
The discussions focused on several major themes, including the evaluation of the second semester and the completion of the current academic year, preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year, entrepreneurship and innovation promotion, the short-term international mobility program, and the implementation of partnership and twinning projects between higher education institutions. Additional topics included the “Study in Algeria” program, subsidiary institutions and investment support mechanisms, student life and university sports, doctoral training, and the organization of scientific events.
The meeting contributed to strengthening coordination and cooperation among higher education institutions in Eastern Algeria, with the aim of ensuring an organized and successful end to the academic year while advancing the implementation of the sector’s strategic projects and development initiatives.
