Strengthening Institutional Visibility and Academic Ranking
Committed to promoting institutional excellence and enhancing its national and international profile, the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture organized its first training workshop entitled “Strengthening Institutional Visibility and Advancing Academic Ranking” on Sunday, 19 April 2026, at 09:00 a.m. The workshop was designed for the benefit of the School’s academic and administrative staff. The workshop sought to introduce participants to the concept of institutional visibility and highlight its significance in showcasing the School’s scientific, academic, and educational activities. It also provided insights into the criteria and indicators adopted by international academic ranking systems, while exploring practical approaches to improving the institution’s standing through increased research productivity, enhanced scholarly publishing, and a stronger digital presence for both the School and its members. The workshop was facilitated by: Dr. Younes MOUSSAOUI Dr. Samir GUEDIRI Dr. Ammar ZAABI Engineer Ammar ZEBDI The programme featured several key themes focusing on strategies for enhancing the digital visibility of researchers and the institution, the role of scientific databases and international academic platforms, and a range of best practices and recommendations aimed at improving academic performance indicators and strengthening the School’s position in various university rankings.
The workshop witnessed active engagement from both academic and administrative staff, providing a valuable platform for the exchange of experiences and ideas, as well as for discussing effective approaches to achieving the School’s objectives in academic excellence and scientific research.
The event closed with a shared commitment to continuing similar training activities aimed at strengthening institutional visibility and fostering a culture of quality and excellence within the School.
